Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania
Email to parole office in error
I created a false email profile then composed an email that I considered sending to the parole office regarding my ex-boyfriend's parole violations because I was angry with him. I meant to send the email to a friend, but still had the parole office address in the address line when I hit the send button. I then sent another email to disregard the first email as sent to the wrong recipient.
Can I get in trouble for sending that email to the parole office, and can they use the information in that email against my ex-husband?

Re: Email to parole office in error
So you didn't consider sending to the parole officer--you DID send it to the parole officer. You could be liable for defamation of character to your ex, and you could be liable for whatever the local statutes are related to providing false information to governmental authorities, if any of it is false.
