can i go to jail?

i called 911 to report someone for driving with out a license and they got busted for dui and drug paraphenilia and with intent to deliver ,the ass. da made a plea bargain,they said he would get ard 1yr for dui and 1 year for drugs ,can he still go to jail with a plea bargainand if i say i lied about seeing him drive would i go to jail?

First of all, from what you say, the "person" isn't going to go to jail, they're getting ARD, which is a probation for first time offenders after which the charges are dropped.

Second, yes, you can go to jail for providing a false report to police. (Either you were lying the first time, or you'd be lying when you said you were lying. Either way, you are committing a crime.) And, providing a false statement to police is a serious matter. People should go to jail for such an offense. Moreso even than DUI or drugs.
