Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

in jail for a dui!

my boyfriend is in jail for a dui for a month, he already had his first court and now he is waiting a second court, which will be on november 30 of 2007! I want to know if he has to wait that long? He is also in the us ilegal and got a deportation order ready at the immigration. We also hire an attorney, but i just want make sure if everything is going the way is supposed to! Thank you!
