Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

Missed Court

My friend was arrestes in august of 2004. He missed his trial date 5/2005. Is it true the longer this drags out the better chance he has of beating the case. For example officer is no longer with the force. documents misplaced . etc.

Tell your "friend" that there is a warrant out for his arrest....so the next time he is stopped by the police is the next time he is going to jail. As for sentencing, he is not going to have a favorable judge, tell your "friend" to contact an attorney and turn himself in to have this matter resolved, unless he wants it hovering over him for the rest of his life.
