Re: penalty for fourth dui
The penalties for a fourth DUI are:
General Impairment (Includes BAC .08->.10): 10 days to 2 years $500 - $5,000 fine.
High BAC(.10 - >.16), Minors(.02), Commercial Vehicles & Buses, General Impairment with Accident: 1 year to 5 years, $1,500 -$10,000 fine.
Highest BAC (.16 or above), Refusal, Drugs: 1 to 5 years, Fine not less than $2,500.
This is very serious. If you are facing this charge you need to speak to a lawyer as soon as possible to review any possible defenses you may have. I offer free consultations.
Re: penalty for fourth dui
Dear Sir,
You are looking at a very severe sentence and should immediately contact an attorney....specifically what was BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) and was your license previously under suspension for any reason, and if it was for what?
As for you question: 4th DUI you are looking at a minimum of at least 10 days in the county jail up to 5 years in the state penitentiary with fines ranging from $500 - $10,000.00. These charges DO NOT include any subsequent or additional charges, nor do they include any additional fines or restitution in the event personal property anyone was injured.
Please contact my office ASAP, under no circumstances should you speak with the police or should you give a statement to anyone on this matter, any such statements can and will be used against you! Please feel free to visit my website at www.AlleghenyAttorneys.com or call my office at 412.731.0865.
