Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

Probation and Traveling

I've just been charged with DUI. I am fighting it. If I lose my license will be suspended and I'm assuming I'll be on probation for a peiod of time. My question is: I'm booked to go to Brazil in Feb. If I'm on probation am I still able to go on my trip? Would there be any problems obtaining a passport? Please help.

I am assuming it is you're first offense and then you will get probation. Often times you are not permitted to leave the country when you are placed on probation. You may want to get in touch with the probation office of the county where you were charged. Look into the ARD program if you have no other record.
