Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania
Using radar guns at night for probable dui stop and test
Can you use a radar gun at night for speeding as probable cause to perform a dui sobrity test? Also if an officer askes if there is any reson that you might not be able perform the field test, and you say ''I am under a chiropracter's care for sciatic nerve problems in my back.'' Does he still have the authority to perform the field test?

Radar--so long as it's being operated consistently with its capabilities and per the manufacturer's instructions, yes.
Field sobriety--This would depend on the test he conducted.
