Are there any ramifications for someone trying to get a teacher certification in PA with a former DUI charge?

The certification should be OK. Some school districts may be reluctant to hire, but depending on the circumstances, it could be remedied. You should have possibly qualified for ARD (First Offenders Program) and could have the charges eventually withdrawn and the record expunged. What area are you in.
