Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

reckless or careless driving instead of DUI

I have recieved a DUI with a BAC of .089. I recieved this in a parking lot moving my car out of the main parking area into a side spot. Is there a chance to plead this down to a lesser charge like reckless or careless drivng and what would these charges carry as far as my driving record?

If this is a first offense DUI then with the BAc so low you would be looking at ARD with no license suspension. If it is not a first offense you may be better off attempting to fight the charges. Most DA's will not plea the charge down. Also, Reckless driving carries a mandatory suspension. I offer free initial consultations.

Yes, this could be reduced. The best chance to do this would be at the preliminary hearing. Please give me a call to discuss further.
