Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

Riding in a car

My son (20) and his girlfriend, who is 17 were pulled over for speeding. The police man did a breathalyzer on them both. My son was .094 and his girl friend had .042

My son was taken to the station, and his girlfriend was left to sit by the car.

This is the 1st time this has happened to them both. Could you please tell me what will happen for my son, should his lawyer ask for the ARD program before the plenary hearing?

and a ruff cost for everything. He was going 15 miles over the limit. And also what should his girlfriend do?

She received papers in the mail to plead guilty or not guilty. What will be my son's responsibility for her?

Re: Riding in a car

Your son needs a lawyer to explain the complete details of the ARD program. Expect to pay approximately $1200 - $1500 in Court Costs. The girlfriend probably can get a different program or have the citation changed to an offense which will not cause her to lose her license. She should also speak with an attorney. I offer free consultations.
