being sued after accident involving DUI
My boyfriend was involved in car accident two years ago. He was convicted of DUI. Now the other car involved is sueing him. what will happen with this. What should we except.

He is obviously being sued for the damages caused by the accident. This would include the car, medical bills, pain and suffering, future medical expenses, etc. Since he was driving DUI, it will be hard for him to win the case. However, his insurance company should probably cover the cost of the attorney and any settlement or verdict against him.
He should contact the insurance company he had at the time and see if they will be providing an attorney to represent him. If they aren't going to do so, he should talk to an attorney of his choosing as soon as possible.
