Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

Warrant for arrest for 1988
Husband received a sheriff warrant for arrest to pay $268.00 for a 1988 charge for drinking & driving. He told lady he had to pay that to get off probation, he has no proff, Can they still charge him. It was like almost 20 years ago. Please answer we have to let them know by Wed. what we are going to do. This does not make sense after all this time, they said they were looking through some old warrants. This happened in York County and we live in Lancaster County. Thank you

The hassle of getting taken into custody or the expense of an attorney to fight this probably isn't worth it. Pay the money and save the recipt.
