Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

Will a DUI conviction stay on my record

I was convicted of DUI approximately 12 years ago. It was in Bucks county. I was involved in an accident and was not eligible for the 1st time offenders program. I was convicted had my licence suspended for 1 Year and did a weekend in the county jail. Will it ever come off my driving and or criminal record? Will the second offense law be in effect for me for the rest of my life? If the answer is YES - is there any way to have it removed?

Re: Will a DUI conviction stay on my record

This will not come off your record unless you get a pardon.

It will not count as a 2nd dui for mandatory sentencing purposes, but the judge can consider it for prior record score purposes or generally at the time of sentencing in the second and any subsequent dui convictions.

Good Luck. Feel free to call or email [email protected] or 215.825.5183. Brian
