Legal Question in Education Law in Pennsylvania

tuition remission denied due to disability?

My husband teaches at an independent school, and our children are entitled to 100% tuition remission if they are accepted, which is worth over $300,000. However, our 4 year old son was denied admission because he has a disability (mild autism, though high IQ). Do we have any rights in this matter?

Re: tuition remission denied due to disability?

There are laws which prohibit discrimination; however, I would need more additional facts to determine whether these laws apply and whether the school's actions are unlawfully discriminatory. Feel free to contact my office.
