Legal Question in Elder Law in Pennsylvania
I am 83 yrs old & my daughter has power of attorney. she wants to put me in a nursing home. i occasionally have lapses in memory, much of which was caused by taking too much medicine that was depleating my sodium level. the medicine has been adjusted & i have improved. my other daughter and i feel that i can live own my own, possibly with some home care assistance. does she have the legal right to put me in a home without my consent due to her power of attorney?

if you are legally competent you may revoke the power of a attorney and execute another if necessary wih another problem. Your doctor is qualified to give an opinion on your legal capacity. All cases are different. perhaps you should consult with an attorney.
