Caring for a Parent
My mother is in a nursing home.
May I charge a fee for related expenses, i.e., travel, taking care of financial matters, time involved, etc.?

You might be able to charge for your services depending on the situation. If you do intend to charge, then you ought to consult an attorney to prepare a written caregiver agreement and to advise you on issues including the Medicaid and tax implications of entering into such a contract.
