Legal Question in Elder Law in Pennsylvania
legal guardianship for mom with alzheimer's
I am trying to settle her estate and am interested in buying her home. Am I permitted to do that on my own or do I need a lawyer to oversee my actions? There is also a lot of work that needs to be completed before the home is in selling condition. Can I use her money to do the improvements?

Re: legal guardianship for mom with alzheimer's
There are many details that I need to know before I can answer your question. For example, I am not sure if you have a Power of Attorney or if you have obtained legal guardianship for your mother. If you want to discuss the details with me, call me at 215.496.2904. I will be happy to try to help after I better understand the situation.
