There are many options which you can discuss with social services for the elderly. If her sight is failing she may need assistance in her home or perhaps move somewhere where she can be taken care of for legal help it may be good to see that she has a medical and financial power of attorney if she already does not have them. It would advisable to schedule an appointment with an attorney to discuss appropriate action.
