Legal Question in Elder Law in Pennsylvania
if parents have medical bills that go to collections, does it come out of the estate when they die? or does it get forgiven?

if the parents have medical bills that are unpaid at their death and there are probate assets the Estate will be responsible. In many cases the other spouse may be responsible for the debts.
