How do you stop being a power of attorney for someone?

What do you need to do,to stop being a power of attorney for someone who is in a nursing home and has alheimer's. This siuation is causing me a lot of money finacially.

It depends. If the Power of Attorney allows you to substitute someone else then you do just that. No one can force you to be an "attorney-in-fact" for someone else.
