Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Can my 3 children & I be evicted by their father?

I had a protection order against my ex- who I have lived with for over 10 years & have 3 kids with, and in the protection order there was a clause stating that on 2/28 I would leave the house that we lived in but was in his name despite our both having contributed money towards purchasing the home and an oral agreement that it was our house. We had reconciled about a month or 2 ago and were working things out and fixing up the house. I dropped the order with the clause that said I would leave the home, with the understanding that we were making things work and his having made promises to me inclusive of the house being ours and acknowledging our common law marraiage, which before he'd deny for the purposes of retaining the assests I had trusted to put in his name. Things are not working out and with the 2/28/05 date approaching he his threatening to evict me, although the only document that noted my leaving the property was the protection order and that was dropped over a month ago. He did not attend the hearing and is trying to act like he didn't know about it. I need to know if he can evict me. He has lawyers and the money and means to afford legal help that I do not. I also have the 3 children and we have no where else to liv

You need to speak with a lawyer. You may be entitled to a PFA which gives you possession of the house or a temporary support order so that you can secure other housing. I offer free consultations.
