Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
I am 18 and currently pregnant the father is 19. I currently do not work but receive ssi and live with my mother until my housing goes through The father works as a cook in a bar and, smokes pot daily, drinks at least 3 times a week and lives with his two buddies in a two bedroom where he has to sleep on his mattress in the dining room, they all smoke cigs, beer cans around and smoke pot inside the apartment. He has just told me he is going to try and get custody of my baby even though I do not do drugs/drink and we are not married. Can I obtain sole legal custody?

Legal custody is the right to make decision about the upbringing of a child. You should be prepared to file for custody soon after the child is born. You will also need to file for support.
Based on what you've stated its unlikey he will get primary physical custody. That said he might if you don't take steps to show that it would be in the best interests of the child to be in your care.
