Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My 18 year old child who is still in school took me for child support himself. He left the house after many attempts to keep him home and is now staying with his friend. Now he went to domestic relations and filed and they awarded support to him from both parents (I have/had full custody since he was 3 years old) again he's still in school (junior failed twice due to lack of passing grades). They don't even have a real type of support. They're calling it "spousal support". Sounds like they're circumventing the law in many ways. I'm looking for actual cases that've been legitaged and cannot find any such case or law saying he can do this.. Again he led the house because he didn't want to live by my rules and do chores etc.. Had cops bring him home many times. He even had a fake allegation of abuse through the cys. Been a long road with this whole situation. Anyone have some Guidence?

First you've been paying child support up to now. You've been paying it in kind. That is you bought food, clothing etc for him.

Under Pennsylvania law he is no longer a minor. However, both parents owe the duty of child support until the child is 18 or graduates high school which ever occurs LAST..

The reason you can't find case law is that these cases almost neer get to Superior Court. First and appeal is gong to cost a lot. Second, it's going to take 3 to 6 months to get a ruling.
