Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
My 18 year old son has left our home to live with his Grandfather. He has 8 weeks till he graduates High School. His Grandfather has contacted me claiming I'm legally responsible to give support to him till he graduates. Is this true? We live in PA if that holds any bearing

Because the child's domicile for support purposes doesn't change until 6 months have passed PA law and a PA Domestic Relations Office is where the petition for child support would be filed. From your zip code that would be Bucks County.
Under PA law parents owe the duty of support until the child turns 18 or graduates high school. That said both parents are on the hook for support. Further, grandfather can only get support back to when he files with the DRO in YOUR county. Then again grandfather will have to show he indeed has primary custody of the child. Generally that is proven by having a custody order.
So he is entitled to claim it but at best he'll get 7 weeks of support.
