Okay im 16 years old.. im engaged to a guy whos 19 well he said he would take resposiblity and support me and everything. i wanna get emancipated and everything because i feel neglected because i get treated like crap by my family members. I need to know what i have to do to get emancipated? i dont even live wit my mom i live wit my grandparents but my mom has custody of me not my grandparents. my mom doesnt buy me anything only sometimes when she doensnt favor her other 3 kids

The emancipation process is difficult. You would need to retain a lawyer and petition the court to get an emancipation order. To get this, you would need to prove to the judge that you would be able to care for yourself without the assistance of your parents. For example, you would need to show that you have a source of income, that you would have stable housing, etc.
Just because your parents don't always buy you stuff will not be a sufficient reason to qualify.
