Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I Am 15 Yrs. Old And Pregnant, I Understand all My responsibilities & i want to get emancipated. I've herd Being pregnant makes you emancipated but I'm not sure. I want this because my house is very stressful & there's always an argument going on with me and a family member and i know it's not good for the baby. Also i feel as if I'm already taking care of myself. I'm Adopted And My check goes towards the bills. I Also have a job & attend school. What rights Do i Have? And Can I get emancipated without Parental Consent?

You heard wrong. It takes a court order to become emancipated.

Next where is the soon to be child's father? Once the child is born he will have rights to see his child and he will also have the duty to support the child. Also, if he's 4 or more years older than you he will have other legal concerns.

You can get emancipated but you are going to have to seek the courts permission. At that hearing your parents will be heard if they oppose the petition.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
