Accident Settlements and Divorce

I was involved in a serious automobile accident approximately three years

after separation. Our divorce is still not complete. Is there any portion of the

proceeds that I will recieve from my accident settlement that my former

spouse will be able to attach to?

If the divorce and property division is finsihed prior to the settlement then unless there was fraud she will not be able to gte the money. If you were not seperated when the accident happened and you are not divorced by the time of the settlement it may well be considered part of the marital estate to be divided.
