Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
adhd child and staying home alone after school for about a hour
I know that the state of Pensylvania doesn't have a age limit on when your child cand stay home alone, however if your child has never been home alone and has this disability, is it wise to do this?

You asked about a child staying home alone.
First, ADHD isn't a disability. It is a condition. In essence there are no disabilities rather a person may be disabled by a condition. Disability is the measure of the effect that a condition has on a person to function in a major life activity in the manner as the general population. If someone is unable to walk without assistance then s/he is partially disabled as to walking, but that doesn't mean that s/he is disabled as to any other activity.
As to staying home alone, it must be based on the maturity of the child and the reasonableness of the situation.

The call of the question is it wise to leave the child alone?
First how comfortable are you doing this? Do you think he'll be safe?
Second, is there any one who might complain about leaving the child alone?
If there is you might want them to agree to it.
