Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Adoption

I am attempting to adopt my wife's son as my own.The father is deceased and I want to adopt the child.I've questioned one lawyer regarding the paper work involved and the fee seemed exorbitant.Could you please provide me with a range of fees required to have the adoption done.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Adoption

A step-parent adoption is a fairly easy procedure from the client's standpoint but does involve a lot of paperwork to be submitted to the court. Assuming there would be no one to contest it since the natural father is deceased, I will be able to handle the matter for a flat fee of $900.00 plus costs. If you are interested, please email Robyn M. Aghen, Esquire at [email protected] for more information.

Re: Adoption

This is a stepparent adoption situation. Because the father has died the legal matter should not be to complex. If you would like to discuss the matter with my office do not hesitate to call me.
