adoption procedures

Is it legal for a man that is not the biological father to be put on a birth certificate and then have that man give his consent to put the baby up for adoption without the biological father knowing it?

Re: adoption procedures

You asked about adoption of a child without consent of the biological father.

If this question was posed by the same person who asked question number 211337940 you need to speak with an attorney immediately.

While a father named on a birth certificate is presumptive a natural father would have an unalienable right to intervene or contest a potential adoption.

This is not a matter that one should go through without an attorney.

Roger
