Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
adoption
I have a son from a previous relationship. His real father lives in Michigan and has payed child support up until August of last year. He has had no other contact or anything with the child. My husband wants to adopt him. I was told you have to have no contact or child support for 2 years before he can adopt him without having to have the real father sign anything. Is this correct?

Re: adoption
NO! Sounds like some one has it confused with something else.
