Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

need help and advice

My friend has 3 children of which she has custody papers through the court. Few months back she was having problem with her oldest and asked dad (never married ) to help, he refused to take the boy and help but in turn wanted her to give all 3 kids to him. In dispare she signed a notary paper stating he had custody of the children and now cannot get them back according to her ex. Question is does notary paper superceed court order if never been taken to court and how does she go about getting her children back?

Re: need help and advice

The paper she signed might give him the right to have temporary custody but the court must approve all custody orders. She needs to file an emergency contempt petition to get the children back. I Highly recommend she get an attorney. I offer free consultations.
