How old does a child have to be in the state of Pennsylvania to decide which parent they want to live with?

There is no set age; however in 2 of my recent cases, in 2 different counties, the court stated they would strongly consider the preference of a child age 14 and over. The courts will look to the maturity of the child and the reasons that they give for wanting to live with one parent over the other.
