Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

What age will a judge take into consideration a child wanting to live full-time with one parent instead of a 50/50 living arrangement? My 8-year-old daughter has not wanted to go back to her father's for almost 4 years now. He basically pays no attention to her and she is being severely neglected in a lot of ways. We live in Pennsylvania.

Every judge and master is a little different, if you feel strongly file a petition to modify the custody order and hopefully the adults will come to a better agreement for your daughter.

Consider hiring an attorney in your county to assist, they know the judges and masters who decide preferences in these matters.
