Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My ex is attempting to file for partial custody and visitaion rights while he is incarserated. He has a very extensive criminal background and i was wondering if he might be granted the custody or if I could request supervised visitation until he stays out of jail longer than a year?

Sorry but the case law is clear. Visiting a parent in prison is not in the best interests of the child.

As to what happens after jail will depend on a number of things. Including what he was in jail for in the first place.
