Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Back in 2008 my sons father signed a consent to adoption form. . . I did not have anybody to adopt my son, however he wanted to sign over rights but apparently someone needed to adopt my son in his place. Nobody adopted my son however I still have these signed papers from my sons legal father. These papers were signed June 2008. I want to know how long these papers are valid for or if they ever become null and void? Please let me know asap this is extremely important.

He cannot simply sign over his rights, if nobody then adopted your son. If he were to seek custody rights, the consent would not necessarily bar him from doing so, just as you can seek support from him.
