Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
My biological father just recently passed. We have not had contact since I was 21 (I'm now 45). His children from 2nd marriage told me of his passing and then asked me fill out paperwork on renunciation. I was told it was changing of the person who was in charge of his affairs. I feel that is wrong & would like to know what that form is really used for.

You need to take it to a lawyer.

The advice given is correct. A renunciation would me that you basically are giving up the right to apply for and or be the administrator or executor of the will or estate if no will. Contact an attorney.
