Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
My boyfriend wants to give up all rights to his 2 month old son because of the mother. He wants nothing to do with the kid any longer. If he gives up all rights to his son does he have to pay child support?

You cannot give up your parental rights and obligations to a child, unless someone else is adopting him. He will have to pay support. As today is Father's .Day, perhaps he will reconsider his unfatherly decision. As a single father, I think he will have a lot of regrets in the future over this decision. But may be his loss more than the child's.
