buying a house while going through divorce
i have been seperated from my husband for one and a half years. my lawyer seems to think that i will be divorced in about 3 months. i am originally from pa and reside in texas. can i purchase a home in texas without my soon to be ex-husband on the house?

I would not buy a house while still married in Texas.
I'll give one example. Most title companies will make you have him execute paperwork stating that he does not want any interest in the house. It usually isn't worlth the hassle of having to deal with him.
