Name change of minor

I have recently married my daughters natural father. He is listed on her birth certificate as her father but I gave her my maiden name instead of her fathers last name. What do we need to do to change her last name to his?

A petition has to filed with the Court. Depending on the age of the child you might have to have him fingerprinted, advertise the court hearing and give notice to the father.
