changing your last name
My daughter wants to change her last name to her step-fathers last name without an adoption and she is 15 years old,can she do it legally without her natual father signing off parental rights,if not how old does she have to be?

Re: changing your last name
To change her name she would have to file a petition for a name change with the court. If the father objected he would have a chance to state his objections to the court.
