child custody

if i was awarded physical and legal custody of my child and asked her father for help for a month by giving her to him does that make my custody null and void?

Not necessarily. Most custody orders have a paragraph that allow the parties to modify the order by agreement.

However, without seeing the actual custody order I have no way of knowing if such a clause is in the order.
