Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Child Custody
I am trying to find a lawyer in the Delaware County area (Because that's where the mother and child reside) for a custody case.
I have tried to reason with the mother, so I can see my child and she tells me to stop calling her or she'll call the cops. Her latest thing is when I call the house she has someone else pick up and say that I have the wrong number.
I've been paying my child support, and when I request to see the child she says, how do I know that is going to keep up. She keeps claiming that my mother is paying my child support and that I have no job. When in fact the child support system garnishes the child support for my wages.
She is very verbally abusive and has also emailed me nasty emails on many occasions, including an email that says something to the affect that she hopes I drink and drive and crash and die.
She does not want me in my daughter's life, but that little girl means the world to me. The mother doesn't work, so all she cares about is that she gets my money. She also sold a bunch of my things without my knowledge to get money.
Is there a lawyer out there that has reasonable rates that is in Delaware County, PA? If so, can someone please get back to me?

Re: Child Custody
Your payment of child support is irrelevant for custody. Her refussal to let you see the child however is very good evidence in your favor. I offer free initial consultations.
