Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
child custody for Grandparent
My daughter had a baby. His father was in jail for the first 1 and a half years of his life.Since last July the babies father has lived with my daughter in my home. Two nights ago they broke up and she tried to kill herself. She is okay but has to stay in the hospital for awhile.Since that time he has tried everything he can to get the baby from me.I wouldn't have a problem with it if I didn't know about the things he has been doing,Which will send him back to jail when the police get enough on him.He is staying with his brother who is staying with one of his friends because he left his wife.He has no job and he has another child which he is supposed to pay support for and isn't.There is a lot more, but too much to be written here.I just want my grandson safe. What are some of my options?

Re: child custody for Grandparent
You asked about the custody and welfare of a minor child.
get yourself to a family law attorney immediately and seek temporary custody/guardianship of the child.
Until you have an order granting you those privileges then the father has rights superior to your own.
