Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

child custody

I retained an attorney on 1/22 almost 2 weeks ago and ever since I paid i have not been able to get a hold of him to start paperwork, he wont return my calls. how long does it ususally take to start paperwork after paying retainer?

If there was some reason the lawyer was tied up either the lawyer or his secretary should have clued you in.

If its any consolation I've had opposing counsel that seem to have the inability to return phone calls.
