Child custody

My son is 9 months old and his father has seen him 3 times since birth, did not sign the birth cert. and requested DNA. The courts awarded me 1134.00 per month in support and now he wants shared custody. Will the judge know this is a ploy to not pay child support?

His seeing the child weekly should not have a significant effect on the amount of child support under the guidelines.

Hopefully both parents will be involved with your child.
