Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
child left alone overnight by ex husband
A concilliator granted me custody of my two daughters, ages 15 and 17, but gave my ex custody of my 12 year old son, even though the concilliator found my son to be ''deeply disturbed'' (the ex was ordered to take my son for a psych eval and he refuses to comply with the court order) My ex works the overnight shift 5 nights per week from 10pm to 7am. My son is left alone the entire time.
Are there any PA laws pertaining to a child being left alone all the time? I would like to get custody of my son so that I can get him the help that he needs. My sons behavior is getting worse, he is abusing the family dog and he is viewing porn on the computer at his fathers house when he is left alone (my 17 year old confirmed this when she paid him a surprise visit)My ex also plead guilty to a harassment charge when he chased my son in the home and injured his face by throwing him into the dresser. All this was presented to the concilliator and he still gave my ex custody pending the outcome of the psych eval. He will not get this done because he is afraid that the eval will show that my son is a victim of parental alienation as well as prior abuse(my son has permanent scars on his back from my ex dropping the bed on him when he hid under it)

Re: child left alone overnight by ex husband
If he is violating a court order you need to file a motion for contempt of court.
If your son is in physical danger, an emergency motion for custody is appropriate. I offer free consultations.
