Child support

I am a full time student who is ordered to pay support I have a hearing coming up for contempt looking for employment to fit schedule unable to find employment currently in the arears of 900.00 have a nine year old at home and I am afraid of going to jail what do you think my chances are?

Well the good news is you're not in Dauphin County.

Depending on why they think you're in contempt, either because of back support or not looking for work will determine how likely your are to go to jail.

you will need an attorney to defend you. many judges are harsh on "dead beats" and it is tough to distinguish your situation from every other person that talks to the judge. If you would like a free consultation to discuss this more, please contact me.
