Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Child support modification

My ex has quit work to go to school and is trying to reduce child support. Will my support be reduced? I have to work, why shouldn't he? What advice can you give me?

Re: Child support modification

Normally a voluntary reduction of income is not grounds for a reduction in child support.

I haven't researched whether there are cases similar to yours in which the court has granted a reduction.

In any event your ex will have to file for a modification

You may want to locate an attorney to protect your interests.

Good luck to you.
