Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I have a child support order filed in Washington state that says my daughter's support will end on her 18th birthday regardless of the circumstances. I have been told by the local Child Support office that I cannot file a petition or request to have the father pay support until she graduates college because Washington state doesn't allow that. My daughter just signed all her college papers to accept an offer at a college in a neighboring state but I don't think it is fair that her father does not have to help her financially with her college education. Is there anything I can do?

No. Under Pennsylvania law child support ends when the child turns 18 or graduates high school which ever occurs last. However, with an order from Washington the order ends per Washington law. At one time Pennsylvania had a law that required the payment of tuition however, that law was ruled unconstitutional.
